1. Refund eligibility (15-day unused-credit guarantee)

We offer a full refund if all of the following conditions are met:

  • You request the refund within 15 days of the original charge date; and
  • No credits have been used on your account for that purchase period (0 credits consumed); and
  • Your account is in good standing (no fraud, abuse, chargeback abuse, or material Terms violations).

If approved, the refund is issued to the original payment method. Each purchase or renewal is evaluated separately based on its own charge date.

2. Not eligible for refunds

Except where required by applicable law, refunds are not available if:

  • Any credits were used (even 1 credit).
  • You forgot to cancel before renewal.
  • You did not use the Service during a billing period, but the purchase does not qualify under Section 1.
  • You are dissatisfied with AI-generated outputs while the Service is functioning as described (AI results can vary).

3. Credits, usage, and expiration

  • Credits are consumed when you use features that require credits (for example, generating content).
  • Used credits are non-refundable.
  • Unless otherwise stated in your plan, unused credits/quotas may expire at the end of the billing period or after a stated time.
  • Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable unless explicitly allowed.

4. Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. When you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period (unless a refund is approved).
  • You will not be billed again unless you restart your subscription.
  • Already-paid fees are not refunded except as stated in this policy or where required by law.

5. Billing errors and unauthorized charges

If you believe you were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong amount, technical billing error) or there was an unauthorized payment, contact us as soon as possible at contact@optidraft.com. We will review and, where appropriate, correct the issue (including issuing a refund).

6. Legal rights

This policy does not limit any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. If local law requires a refund, cancellation, withdrawal (cooling-off) period, or other remedy in certain circumstances, we will comply with those legal requirements, even if they differ from this policy.

7. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue. If a chargeback is filed, we may temporarily suspend access while we investigate and respond to the dispute.

8. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email contact@optidraft.com and include:

  • The email address on your OptiDraft account
  • The transaction date and amount (or invoice/receipt ID)
  • A short explanation of your request

9. Refund processing

If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank/payment provider.
