Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for purchases made through OptiDraft (the “Service”). The Service is operated under the OptiDraft brand by HOTSLINKAGE LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing a subscription or credits for the Service, you agree to this policy, in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. Definitions

  • Credits: Units used to access features or generate content (for example, articles, images, or video assets).
  • Used credits: Any credits that have been consumed by generation, export, or feature usage on your account.
  • Billing period: The recurring time period for a subscription (for example, monthly or yearly), if applicable.
  • Purchase date: The date a charge is successfully processed for a subscription payment, renewal, or credit purchase.

2. 15-day unused-credit refund guarantee

We offer a full refund for a purchase if all of the following conditions are met:

  • You request the refund within 15 days of the purchase date for that charge; and
  • No credits have been used on the account during that period (0 credits consumed); and
  • Your account is in good standing (no fraud, abuse, chargeback abuse, or material Terms violations).

If approved, we will issue the refund to the original payment method. Each purchase or renewal is evaluated separately based on its own purchase date.

3. When refunds are not available

Except where required by applicable law (see Section 8), refunds are not available in these situations:

  • Any credits were used (even 1 credit).
  • You forgot to cancel before renewal.
  • You did not use the Service during a billing period, but the purchase does not qualify under Section 2.
  • You are dissatisfied with AI-generated outputs while the Service is functioning as described (AI results can vary).

4. Credits, usage, expiration, and responsibility

  • Credits are consumed when you use features that require credits (for example, generating content).
  • Used credits are non-refundable.
  • Unless otherwise stated in your plan, unused credits or quotas may expire at the end of the billing period or after a stated time.
  • Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable, unless we explicitly allow otherwise.

5. Free trial (if offered)

We may offer a free trial so new users can evaluate OptiDraft before being charged. If you start a paid subscription after a trial, billing begins as described at checkout.

6. Subscriptions and cancellations

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings (or by contacting support).

  • Cancellation stops future renewals.
  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid billing period, unless a refund is approved.
  • If we approve a refund, we may cancel the related subscription immediately and remove paid access associated with the refunded transaction.

7. Billing errors and unauthorized charges

If you believe you were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong amount, technical billing error) or there was an unauthorized payment, please contact us as soon as possible. We will review and, where appropriate, correct the issue (including issuing a refund).

8. Legal rights

This policy does not limit any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws. If local law requires a refund, cancellation, withdrawal (cooling-off) period, or other remedy in certain circumstances, we will comply with those legal requirements, even if they differ from this policy.

9. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or payment provider, we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue. If a chargeback is filed, we may temporarily suspend access while we investigate and respond to the dispute. We may provide evidence of account activity and acceptance of this Refund Policy to the payment provider.

10. How to request a refund

To request a refund, email us at support@optidraft.com and include:

  • The email address on your OptiDraft account
  • The transaction date and amount (or invoice/receipt ID)
  • A brief explanation of the request

11. Refund processing

If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank or payment provider and can take several business days.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates when the latest version takes effect.
